Disease and insects often make homes of vulnerable trees.  Insect abatement and disease control are mission critical to the continued health and well-being of trees in San Diego.  Diseases that attack trees are usually looking for the perfect storm, i.e., a bacteria, a host and the right environment.  Typically, that means, fungi, virus or bacteria attack a weak tree in an environment of temperature extremes.  San Diego tree disease and insect management is the process of diagnosing the pathogen (the attacker) and mitigating its progression with therapeutic  remedies for the tree - given that the environmental factors are not likely to change.Insects can be much more aggressive in their attack upon trees.  99% of the time the culprit is one type or another of tree beetle.  We use eco-friendly methods to discourage the presence of insects and pests in the trees of San Diego.
